Team 3 WB 11.12.23

Team 3 have had a busy but fantastic week of 2023! It has been full of Christmas festivities from pantomimes, chocolate nativity, Christmas performances and of corse our Christmas markets.

The children have been incredibly busy during the past few weeks leading up to our big night on Tuesday. Overall we managed to raise a whopping £334… the best we have ever done! So thank you to everyone who was able to join us and contribute. It does really mean a lot to the school and the children. We will be using the money to purchase something exciting for our outdoor area so watch this space!

In maths this week we have been attempting to beat T6 in our TTrockstar challenge. It requires the children to go on TTrockstars for 10 minutes everyday. We have also been continuing with multiplying 2 digit numbers. Today we found that we had to combine our column method knowledge from last unit!

In English we have been working really hard to finish our big write. The children have wrote a 6 paragraph piece on a fantasy story based on our book ‘winters child’.

I have to say they are fantastic pieces!

We then looked at our success criteria and highlighted our success in our pieces. We wonder what our next text will be…?
