Team 5 w/b 9.10.17

Date: 13th Oct 2017 @ 5:16pm

This week, Team 5 have enjoyed learning about some Anglo Saxon jobs and produced job advert posters to recruit for everything from a blacksmith to a bone worker!  In RE, we spoke very bravely about personal sacrifices we have all had to make to secure something we believe in.  Many of the children we brave enough to trust us with some very personal memories.  We all felt honoured that they had chosen to share them with us.

For the Talking Bag presentation, Dana spoke about her visit to the Junior Safety Officer meeting and showed us all of the cool things she picked up there.  We all insisted that we be allowed to have a copy of the wordsearch each!  Unfortunately, there wasn't time to hear Enola's talk, but we can't wait to hear it on Monday.

To round off the week, we made clay creatures and brought them to life with twigs and woodland materials in the school's woodland area.  We just had time for Maggie to share some of her bright and beautiful traditional Malawian clothes with us - everyone wanted to try on the gorgeous dress!

Next week's Mouse Mania is planting seeds...stay tuned to find out what they will grow into!

Have a wonderful weekend!
