Team 5 w/b 4.12.17

Date: 8th Dec 2017 @ 3:42pm

This week was jam-packed with performances!  On Wednesday afternoon and evening, as well as Thursday evening, Key Stage 2 performed breathtakingly well in our production of ‘Bethlehem, Bethlehem’.  Team 5 were possibly the standout performers, delivering their lines with volume, clarity and lots of expression.  A huge thank you to those children who came back for both of the evening performances – your support made the performances and singing better than ever!

In class, we began our Christmas story – ‘A Kidnapped Santa Claus’ by L. Frank Baum.  We had our first read-through today and all agree that it’s a brilliant story.  We especially liked some of the archaic language and are looking forward to trying to fit it into our own retellings of the tale.

In Forest School, we collected sticks and twigs then (carefully!) used a glue gun to stick them together into the shape of a Christmas Tree.  We will take them home and decorate them over the weekend.  The best ones will find their way onto Twitter!

Next week’s Mouse Mania is a Christmas Party.

Have a wonderful weekend!
