Team 5 w/b 27.11.17

Date: 3rd Dec 2017 @ 6:01pm

This week has been filled with singing and acting!  Team 5 proved themselves to be stunning performers in our practices for the Key Stage 2 Christmas Production, singing with gusto and acting with flair.  Both as a class and as a whole Key Stage, we learned to sing in harmony across two parts, timing our voices for maximum effect.

We still found time for the rest of our work, using concrete models and resources to show our understanding of addition and subtraction.  We also learned about the Laidly Worm of Spindelston Heugh Anglo-Saxon myth, and practiced asking and answering our own questions to check our understanding of what we had read.

We rounded off the week with another Forest Schools lesson with Mrs Lewis, writing our names and secret codes in Anglo Saxon runes using found materials in the woodland area.

Next week’s Mouse Mania is…to be announced on Monday!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Mr Thomas and Team 5
