Team 4 have had a fantastic final week before the half term break!

In our English learning, we finished writing our very own stories based on When The Giant Stirred. The children produced some wonderful stories and it was fantastic to see them apply their spelling, punctuation and grammar learning in their work.

In our math’s work, the children finished their learning about fractions. We learnt how to take mixed numbers and then simplify these fractions before adding or subtracting them . After we had done this, we then simplified the answer. The children enjoyed learning this multi-step method and applying it to a range of word problems.

In our afternoon learning, we played diamond cricket with Mandy in PE, we learnt about the different religious symbols within Christianity and we also researched where different fruits are grown and imported from around the world.
