What a busy first week back we have had!

In our English learning this week, we edited our stories that we wrote before Easter. We identified and corrected spelling mistakes, added words to improve meaning and corrected handwriting.

In maths, we spent the week learning how to simplify a range of simple and complicated fractions starting with counters as a physical proper mental before moving onto formal mental methods.

In our afternoon learning, we began our science experiment exploring which liquids damage teeth, we learnt how to draw in matching colours in art with Mrs Carroe and finally in PE we began our new unit based on tag rugby.
