What a busy week we have had again in Team 4!

In our English learning this week we have been continuing reading our class text Leon and the Place Between. This week we split into groups and learnt how to use a range of skills when describing events in the book including how to use subordinate clauses, list sentences for description and fronted adverbials. 

In our spelling work this week, we have been working on the suffix -ful. You can reinforce this learning at home by learning the following words:

• helpful
• cheerful
• beautiful
• wonderful

In our maths learning this week, we have been learning how to multiply by ten, how to divide by a range of numbers and also how to solve a range of word problems.

In our afternoon learning, we have been busy in art learning about a range of exciting new artists and experimenting in different styles. In PE, we continued developing out teamwork and communication skills by playing human four in a row as well as a range of other games. In our geography learning, we learnt how to read a compass and orientated ourselves learning what different features of the school grounds were in the different compass points.
