Team 3 WB 29.4.24

Team 3 have had a brilliant week including a fantastic trip! Luckily the weather was on our side which meant paddles in the river, smiles and mud! Linking with Geography, Science and maths, our trip started by exploring how rocks change shape as they travel downstream. We found that our rocks changed roundness shape twice as much from our first site upstream, to our last site downstream. In our second activity we looked at flowers in our location.
In english this week we have been revisiting the use and importance of prepositions. Combining them with our knowledge of adverbs and adjectives, we created fantastic pieces of writing about our adventure into a cave with glow worms!
In Maths we are still developing our knowledge of time. We found the duration of time very challenging but are building resilience as we go.
In PE this week we are looking at our throwing and jumping unit. We explored techniques for throwing for distance and for throwing with accuracy.
Have a lovely weekend! We can't wait for our Egyptian workshop on Tuesday
