Team 3 WB 28.4.25
Date: 2nd May 2025 @ 6:21am
What a sunny and busy week for Team 3!
We have done lots of fun and exciting learning outdoors this week. Our fieldwork trip on Thursday was a great success and consisted of team games and paddling in the water. We investigated the change in the shape of rocks as they travelled downstream. Our findings were that the further downstream the rock travelled, the rounder they were. After that we represented our findings in a bar chart, linking to our current unit in maths.
In PE we have started a new unit- throwing and jumping. This week our focus was practicing underarm and overarm throws. We found that when throwing for accuracy, underarm was our best use. Whilst overarm was a better option when throwing for distance.
During our french lesson we have been learning plural nouns focusing on fruit and vegetables. We had to apply our knowledge of french numbers combined with the nouns.
Reminders for next week:
— Bank holiday Monday
- Egyptian workshop on Tuesday
