What a lovely last week of term in Team 3!

We had such a lovely time on our trip to Liverpool. Exploring the different sections of the museum was definitely a highlight! We were super excited to have a sneak peak into our next history topic in the ancient Egypt section. Additionally, looking at different types of rocks made us realise how much we have learnt about them in science! After that, we explored the synagogue. Our faces were a picture when we got shown a real torah.

In English, we have been busy finishing off our end of unit non chronological reports. Our aim was to persuade people to act and protect the whales by recycling, not fishing and to stop polluting! It was great to see how passionate we all are about our planet. Some of our work is displayed in our class window. Please have a read and let us know what you have been doing to help us save the whales.

In PE, we have been further exploring our unit of dance. We got super creative and focused on how we could make a good witch and a bad witch using our facial expressions and actions.

In Geography, we have been developing our knowledge of continents. We used playdough to represent the different sizes of the continents and put them into size order. Then we looked at north, east, south and west. Using our knowledge of migration from english, we were able to move our whale in different directions, including up to the northern hemisphere.

Well done to all them children who were brave enough to stand up and audition for Horn’s Mills got talent! Everybody else was a superb audience and supported their friends brilliantly.

Have a lovely Easter break!
