We are half way through our final term- where has the time gone?

We have been extremely busy making our way through our end of year reading and maths test. We were surprisingly very excited about them! Using our resilience and determination we all managed to achieve fantastic marks and are super proud of ourselves!

Our week started with sports day which made us feel extremely exhausted after it. We finish our day off with a reflection about what we were proud of, our achievements and our ambitions for next year.

In maths we have moved onto ‘Lines’. Throughout the week we have been exploring different types of lines such as vertical, parallel, horizontal and perpendicular. We even had a game and a race to find as many parallel lines as we possibly could within the classroom. 20 pairs of parallel lines!!

In RE we have been further exploring islamic beliefs, focusing on the Qur’an. This week we discussed why the Qur’an is so sacred and even had ago at writing from right to left!

We are loving our Egyptian unit in History. This week we created our own pharaoh top trump cards. We researched a variety of pharaohs dates of birth, when their reigned, their death and where they were buried. At the end we challenged our friends to a game!
