Team 3 W.B 11.9.23

What a busy week in Team 3! 

We have been so excited to find out that our English text is.... After the Fall! We have been applying our phonetic knowledge to describe how our characters are feeling in the story. After learning about how to apply 'ed' endings to our words, we wrote a diary describing Humpty's journey. 

In maths we have been focusing on place value. We counted in 50's, adding one more and one less and numbers that are greater than others. Using concreate aparatus, we did this fantasticaly! 

In PE we have been looking at teamwork and tactics. With hoola hopps we played a game of 3 in a row. We supported eachother and thought about different tactics to help us win. 

During Geography we focused on creating a UK map again. This time we used playdough! We got given flags and plotted the countries, capital cities and seas around our map. 

All children have settled into Team 3 life brilliantly! We are all so proud of them.

Mouse Mania this week is Toys from home.
