Happy New Year everyone and welcome back to school!

We have had a lovely first week back in school and all the children have settled back into their rountines very well.

In English we are contining with our narrative text where we have been learning to create sentences with a range of conjunctions and identify lots of spelling patterns in our text. These include many words which have the suffixes -ing, -ed and -er.

In Maths we have been learning how to read and write number up to 20 in numerals and words.We were so confident with this that we began to solve lots of problems and even set problems for our friends to solve.

During our afternoon learning we have continuing our learning on the features of churches in R.E, completed our science investigation using our rain gauges and began our new topic learning all about 'Tremendous Toys'.
