Hi and welcome back to the blog!

I hope you have had an amazing week and weekend: let’s get started.

In maths this week, we have been calculating with fractions (times, multiply, divide and subtract). We have also been learning about the perimeter and the area of various shapes and using this to solve complex reasoning questions.

In English, we have been writing reports about vultures and have planned another report about tigers that we will start to write after the half term.

In Geography, we have been studying the map of the UK. We have been learning where to locate the countries within the UK such: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We have also been locating their capital cities: Belfast, London, Cardiff, and Edinburgh. We also played a games called 'Globle', where we have to guess the mystery country.

In whole class reading, we have been learning about Autism, what it is and how it might affect people. Our class read is linked to being different to others and it is called Wonder.

In PE we were exploring different games such as ‘tails’ and developing our teamwork and tactic skills.

Thank you for reading the blog this week and I hope you have a great half term: from Hannah
