A warm welcome ( do you like the pun?).

We've had another exciting and productive week in Team 1. Here are some of our highlights:

English – Big Write: Toys in Space
This week, the children completed their Big Write based on the book Toys in Space. They worked incredibly hard to bring their ideas to life and showed fantastic imagination and writing skills. We're very proud of their efforts!

Maths – Measuring and Comparing
In Maths, we've been focusing on measuring and comparing volume and capacity. The children have learned how they can compare containers containing different amounts of liquid and used the phrases 'more than, less than and equal to' in their comparisons.

Cricket Fun!
This morning, we had the pleasure of taking part in a cricket event – and what a morning it was! The children were absolutely fabulous and threw themselves into every activity with great enthusiasm. They’ve loved talking about it and sharing their favourite parts with each other.

Class Assembly – 3rd July
Your child will have come home with their words for our upcoming class assembly on Wednesday 3rd July. The parts they need to learn are highlighted in yellow. Thank you for supporting them with learning their lines – we can’t wait to share this special performance with you!

Sports Day – Monday
A reminder that Sports Day will take place on Monday. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their PE kit, ready for a fun and active day.

Sun Safety

As the weather is warm, we ask that you apply sunscreen before school. Children may bring in sunscreen to reapply at lunchtime themselves.
