Back to school

Team 5 have had a terrific start to the new school year.  This week, we've written recounts about our wonderful summer holidays, created oil pastel self-portraits and whizzed through times tables tests and games.  

We began our new topic by learning about the ancient invasion of Britain by the Angles and Saxons and even managed to find time to dream up poems that described the unique quirks and characteristics that makes each one of us special.  

Mr Thomas has been amazed by the care, respect and hard work shown by Team 5 and has been very well looked after by everyone in his first week at Horn's Mill (especially when he was overloaded with hand-made biscuits during Mouse Mania!).

Next week's Mouse Mania is Benchball.  Please make sure you have your PE kit in school.
