Team 5 WB 16.1.23

Hi welcome to this week’s Team 5s blog! 

First of all, we did art and we discovered more about Norse mythology through Christina Balit's illustrations. We chose colours from her artwork like green, blue and orange, and tried mixing our own shades with our partners.  

Team 5 really enjoyed their second week of swimming where they did some floats on their back and front. 

 On Friday Charlie got the big cheese! And he was very proud of himself! JJ 

In science we have been learning about properties and changes of materials. We split into groups and worked together by finding different properties of materials! 

In Maths we have been practicing division which has been quite tricky the past few days, but we managed to get through it as a team! 

In English we have been writing poems about our topic – Norse mythology using past skills from year 4 and 5!  

Year five have had a great week and have really enjoyed it!  We hope everyone has a good weekend! JJJ
