Team 4 - Residential at Tattenhall

Date: 15th Jun 2019 @ 11:56pm

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a wonderful week!

Team 4 have been utterly tremendous at our residential in Tattenhall and all the adults have commented that we felt privileged to spend the time with them.

When we arrived at the ice-cream farm on Wednesday, the children couldn't wait to go and play. The drizzle and grey skies were not going to get in the way and they certainly weren't going to put anyone off wanting an ice-cream!

When we arrived at the Tattenhall centre, we were greeted by Lisa who gave us a tour and a health and safety talk. We then tucked into our packed lunch and settled into the rooms. In the afternoon, Mrs Anderson led our art activity which the children really enjoyed. The tie-dye t-shirts and masks will form part of our class assembly -so we don't want to give too much away! After an enjoyable playtime and explore of the grounds, we tucked into some dinner. Then it was a chilled evening with a DVD and few class games. HT impressed us with her limbo, MA set up a hair salon and there was some great collaboration with a loom band challenge!

On Thursday we spent the morning with Jenny who helped the children develop a stunning dance routine. Again, we can't wait to show you on the 26th! Then after lunch we met Adam and John who led the outdoor activities. This was what many had been waiting for -  zip wire, tree climbing and team building activities. It was a wonderful afternoon and we were so proud to see the children challenge themselves and develop their growth mindset skills. After another delicious meal, it was time for a campfire and songs with a special guest - (J. Williams). It really was a lovely evening.

For our final day, we visited a local park where we had lots of fun to finish off our amazing residential.

We are so very proud of all the children for representing our school so well and for being such fun!

Please have a look on Twitter to see everything that we got up to.

Well done Team 4, from your very proud adults,  Mrs Hughes, Miss Foster, Mrs Lewis, Mr F and Mrs Butters
