What a busy week we have had.

In PE, we have had a great rugby coaching session.  We were learning to pass the ball and receive the ball more accurately.  We also looked at working as a team to pass the ball.

In Maths, we have been looking at finding the area of different shapes by counting the squares and half squares.  Then, we have looking at reasoning questions and problem solving questions related to this.

In English, we have started our new book, 'When the Giant Stirred' by Celia Godkin. We wrote our own adventure stories set on an island.  Then, we have been looking at expanded noun phrases linked with the beginning of the story of the book.

In Science, we have continued our topic on sound and this week we made ear defenders.
