Team 3 WB 8.5.23

Another great week in Team 3!

In PE we are enjoying our tag rugby unit. This week have been focusing on how to tag, what to do when we have been tagged and using coordination to dodge the attackers when carrying a ball.  To practice this, we played a game of stuck in the mud.

During music this week we have explored the terms dynamics, pitch and tempo.  We applied this when discussing a piece of middle eastern music that we listened to. We spoke about what instruments we could hear and were able to clap along to the beat.

In maths we have begun our unit of time. Especially focusing on am and pm. Next week we will be exploring more about how to tell the time and experimenting using our own individual clocks.

In english we have been using our knowledge of adverbs to write a setting description as if we were going through a cave of glow worms. We used our prior knowledge of prepositions to be able to tell our reader exactly where the object we are describing is.
