Team 3 WB 12.6.23

What a busy week in Team 3!

We kicked off the week to a great start with sports day. We were so impressed with the children’s resilience and team work. Everyone tried their best and we are so proud of each and every one of you!

We have been learning about road safety from our PCSO’s and how we can look out for each other. We even got arrested!!!

In maths, we have moved onto our new unit of fractions. We have visited our prior knowledge of halves, thirds and quarters and were even able to link that with our previous unit of time from ‘quarter past’. We will be focusing on tenths, equivalents and equal grouping next.

In art we have been looking at African animals. We studied animals skin texture and focused closely on the pattern details. Step by step we then drew our own drawings and used graphite to add in the patterns on the skin.After that we self evaluated our sketches.
