In English we have been learning how to retell stories. We have been concentrating on including questions, contractions, conjunctions and correct punctuation and spellings of words we know.

In maths we have been learning how to add and take away ones, tens and hundreds.

In science we have been learning about the bones that make up our skeleton. We looked at all the bones and built a skeleton in our books.

On Wednesday we had a great art lesson beginning to recreate Hokusai’s ‘Great Wave off Kanagawa’. We remembered lots of facts about him from last week and looked in more detail at the background, mid ground and foreground to find different shapes which helped us draw an outline of his print.
