Team 2 Week 36 - 21.06.19

We were overjoyed with all the family support we received on Tuesday at our class celebration assembly, thank you very much. The children were amazing and definitely made everyone at Horn’s Mill proud. The children have been working super hard with their writing this week adding est and er suffixes to words. The children have really grasped the idea of using adjectives as standard practice when writing. This makes their writing much more interesting. We have flown through our maths this week learning about position and direction. The children loved that majority of our learning in this unit is practical so a great reason to get outside weather permitted.   Our SPaG sessions have continued to focus on tense and spellings which I can see we have developed a good conceptual understanding across the class. Furthermore, this week we have been practising for our poetry recital that takes place next Friday.

Great week Team 2 keep it up not long now until summer.
