Team 1 - A week packed full of new learning

Welcome back everyone!

We have had a very busy start back to school this week, but have been ready and raring to go! In English we have started to innovate our letter to the Big Bad Wolf and create our very own story maps to write our own innovated letters. Miss Steen was very impressed with all of our creative ideas.

In maths we have been working hard on our numbers bonds to 5,10, 20 and beyond, also using out subtraction facts too! Miss Steen was very impressed that everyone tried really hard with this and even when some children found some parts tricky, they still carried on until they understood. Fabulous mathematicians!!

In the afternoons we have continued with our handwriting practice, created our own colourful weaves with Mrs Anderson in art and began our new science topic all about the change in seasons.
