Hi, welcome back to the blog. We hope you had a great Christmas and a happy new year!

On Wednesday in English we were watching a video on tigers and how people poach tigers. We were writing down words of how we felt about this sad news.  There are now left than 3,200 tigers left in the wild.

In Maths, we have learnt about formal long division and how to use this method. We decided which method we preferred out of the two taught.

In Music, we had our last lesson of the recorder with Mr Burns. We were learning the B,A and G note and created our own tunes using these notes.

In PE, We talked tactics and played a game called  tic tac toe. We split up into teams of 6 and it was pretty fun!

On Thursday, in English we continued to work on the tiger poaching video and talked about how the director used camera angles, colour and sound to make us feel a certain way.

In Maths,we revised formal long division and the majority liked this method over the chunking method.

In RE we learnt about the main 6 reigions in the world  such as, Christianity,Islam,Sikhism,Judaism,Buddhism and Hinduism.

In Reading, we were reading a book called Winnie about the inspiration behind the true story of Winne the Pooh which was really interesting

Thank you for reading the blog this week, goodbye from Hannah and Nasim (your new blog team)
